Hi Vijay,
Concordia requires original signed LORs before your admit is confirmed. You can ask your referee to provide you the soft copy of the signed letter, which you can upload with your application. Drop a mail to Concordia's adcom requesting them to process your application with the scanned copy of one of your LORs and its perfectly legitimate, no exception there. I suggest you research air mail charges (not the registered mail/courier charges) from your client's location in UK to Montreal and your place in India. Air mail charges are the least. Ask your referee to send the letter to location with lower charges. It could take 20-30 days to reach your place/Montreal by air mail. You can later send the mail to Montreal through courier. But in any case, your client will have to incur some delivery charges, which you can reimburse to him, if need be. If cost is not a constraint for you, check with DHL to pick the letter from your client's place in UK to deliver it to Concordia. They may charge more, but its possible to book delivery and pay charges in India, so your client is not involved in money matters. Ask him to paste Concordia's address on the envelope.

That is fantastic information, thank you. Much appreciated. Let me explore all the possibilities you've explained above.
How many LORs do they require? If it is two, I think I'll skip the client in the UK, and probably stick to my ex-managers here in India.
Also one more question, is it okay to collect all the two/three references and mail them as one package? Again, thanks a tonne for the above suggestions mate.
Regards,
Vijay G
