Good day everyone!

Could You please advise me on the following: I got admitted to ESSEC (1 year M2) and Bocconi MS in Finance (2 years). I got a scholarship from ESSEC and program there is way cheaper for me.
Background: I have 3 year work experience within KPMG Central Asian regional office, can't speak both languages (yet).
I intend to get a position in London/Amsterdam.

I made a research and, on paper, Bocconi has better reputation across Europe and better job placement options in London. Is it true? Will I have difficulties getting a position if I graduate from ESSEC?

I also heard that Bocconi has rigorous curriculum but is more theoretical.

Any ideas are welcomed.

The ESSEC MFin ranks in the top 10 in the world. Its on the same list as the likes of MIT, LBS and Cambridge.
London placements are very good from ESSEC too( not sure how London finance works post Brexit)
In my opinion, ESSEC is a no brainer.

Hello. I have got an admit from both Essec and Schulich for their Mfin course. While my first preference is Essec, lack of french knowledge might make it difficult for me to find a job in France after graduating from Essec. Deadline for confirming my admission in both the schools is Dec 31, 2021. Can somebody guide me in taking a decision?

Hi sparshdhamija , you have understood correctly that you would be treading along a challenging path in terms of finding a job in France without being proficient in French. If you are not willing to reach a C1-C2 by the time you start looking for jobs/internships, you would mostly depend on networking opportunities in London, Amsterdam and Germany. If you consider yourself a hustler who is willing to make the best possible use of networking opportunities outside France while studying at ESSEC, you should then go for it.
