Now that all of you are done hijacking this thread in every possible direction, I'll take it upon myself to bring it back on track - ESSAYS. I'm working on the Kellogg essays now and most of them have a word limit of 1 - 2 pages double spaced. I find this *extremely* limiting. I can't seem to fit more than 2 detailed anecdotes in an essay. Where are all the other 'great' things I did supposed to go?? boo hoo... :cry:

What the heck did I miss here while I was on vaca??!

I like the Mojitos at Cafe 28 in Chicago.

I was at the GSB part time open house at the Gleacher Center on Friday. Although I am new here and don't know you much, I thought of PMing you to see if you were up for a drink. But then I realized that you were out on vacation :roll:

If you're a guy, do you think you would interview better with a lady?

Personally, I'll rather interview with a guy. But wonder whether it would be better to interview with a lady...?

Not suggesting that the interviewers can be swayed so easily, but if you're "hot" (as a guy or a gal), it might be better to get an interviewer of the opposite sex? ;)

Otherwise, go with the sex that you're most comfortable and candid with.

But I would think that attractiveness would influence the interview to a certain extent. In view of that, and my not being hot... i'll stick to phone interviews :P

That's not a problem for me. The only hot woman for me is my wife :yes .. so nobody else can disturb my concentration.

LOL! Great question rhyme! But if my interviewer is hot, and I am as "social" as I claim to be in my essays, I would turn up my charm and be even better at my interview than before, right? ;)
