Great Score. Good Luck.

I used to think the same until I 'crossed-roads' with GMAT SC

I am a non-native speaker of english but always thought I wsa pretty good at it, until I hit this thing called GMAT SC. actually though, I am glad I worked on this. I think I have improved on my written english a bit.

shoot away if anyone has any questions.

Awesome work man, I can't even imagine how good it feels to walk out of the testing center with a 740 under your name. And it doesn't seem like you put in THAT much time to prepare, which makes it even more impressive.

Thanks for the debrief, and congratulation on a great score. Are OG and MGMAT guides the only books you used to study for the exam?

Yes, Samwong. ofcourse, GMAT Q of the day at gmatclub and Bunuel's math tutorials. these were very helpful as well. I still think you need a good understanding of CR questions and more work on SC to be very confident. I was pretty much on the border for these. A lot of people suggest some LSAT material for CR; so maybe that would be helpful if you need to pick up from there. for SC, MGMAT guide was good for some fundamentals. Infact, the answer explanations for OG12 and official verbal guide SC/CR questions is pretty good as well.

GZ on your score! :)

Seems to be very similar to my story : from 650 to 740 (Q49, V41). As I do not have time to post the whole experience, if someone has any questions, please, PM and I will be happy to answer!

Cheers!

Congrats for the great score!! From 650-740 in 4 weeks !!that's really amazing man - especially for a non-native english speaker. You must be excellent in verbal.

I took MGMAT1 and scored 650(Q50,V30). I want to take my verbal score to 40 in next two months. You may explain startegy of verbal preparation.

ok the final score 740/q 50/ v 40/ AWA 6.0

@hacker, there was no strategy per se for verbal. beef up on the SC fundamentals, MGMAT SC did help here. do all OG questions and understand the answers.
