Hi Everyone,
I wanted to know your views on my recent performance in mocks, GMAT Prep Exam Pack 1 (Exam 3 and 4).
I got 690 (Q 49 and V 35) and 700 (Q 50 and V 34).
Exam 3 : Verbal CR (10 Correct and 1 incorrect) , Verbal SC ( 10 correct and 7 incorrect) and Verbal RC ( 4 passages 8 correct and 5 incorrect)
Total 28 correct and 13 incorrect.
Exam 4 : Verbal CR (7 correct and 4 incorrect) , Verbal SC ( 14 correct and 3 incorrect) and Verbal RC ( 4 passages 11 correct and 2 incorrect)
Total 32 correct and 9 incorrect.
I have attached the screenshots from the GMAT Prep and the
error log listing the order of questions I got in Verbal (Exam 3 and Exam 4).
I have included the time spent on a question, difficulty in terms of % ( source is GMATCLUB) and a link to the forum.
Also two CR questions(highlighted them in yellow) got repeated in Exam 4 from Exam 3.
My questions to the experts are
I got 7 incorrect in first 20 questions of verbal and still the software throw me some hard questions for the latter part. Will it be the case in the real test?
I got relatively easy questions in Exam 4, as the no of questions in the EP1 database are limited. But on the test day, the database will be very huge and it depends on my performance of the first two sections (1-20). As you can see the spreadsheet, I am taking too much time in SC for easy questions as well. SC was never my strong suit. So please analyse it and tell how can I improve in my weak areas.
I can answer some hard and medium questions but if I answer wrong on some easy and medium ones, I will not get the chance to answer hard questions. Without that my score will not cross 35 in verbal section. I am trying to get a V 37 on the test day.
I still have EP2 exam pack which I have never touched and 5 CATs from
Manhattan Prep.
I still haven't fixed on the date. I will fix on the date if I score consistently on the mocks. My target score is 720.
