Hello,
I am an
e-gmat student and have completed most of the CR and SC courses.
I am having a horrible time at Verbal.
My verbal score has come down from V33 (gmatprep, oct 3) to v31(
MGMAT) to v28(gmatprep, nov 9)
I love the classes and the way you teach. I understand the concepts well and have been good at application and practice files. For most of the questions I get wrong, the moment I see the correct choice I understand the silly mistake I did without reading the solution.
But for both
MGMAT and the latest GmatPrep, I was clueless even after seeing the correct answer choice. The 5 point fall has got me extremely depressed.
My GMAT is on 28th. And before the prep I was really hoping I could take my verbal to V40. But now a 12 point jump seems like a dream.
What strategies you suggest me to follow considering I have 5-8 days max to give to Verbal.?
Pointers:
a) For the OG questions I do topic wise, I have a >85% success ratio. I think I mess up when there is a
mixed bunch of questions in the mock.
b) My questions are mostly right when I follow your Logical structure process, but when there is
timer ticking I am not able to give the same process too much time.
c) RC, CR, SC were equally bad. I have not done any RC strategy till now, there might be scope for improvement there.
d) My quant score was Q50 in the mock. I also think that maybe the
IR and Quant drain me out before the verbal. Any strategies you suggest to handle that?
