Timing and anxiety are a bit of a problem for me during exam.

If you feel it takes you a bit of time to warm up, consider doing a few questions beforehand (i.e. don't let the first questions you see on the day be those of the actual mock/exam).

Consider including/sharing your latest mock report as well. People may provide some specific suggestions based on it and any specific areas/issues you mention. For CR, for example, Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for Critical Reasoning could be helpful to check out.

How to get better on the GMAT. Think of time management as time currency.

Hi piyushnagre99,

I see your test is coming up in just a few weeks. How are things going with your prep? Do you need any additional advice at the moment?

Hi ScottTargetTestPrep ,

Thanks for the kind reply. Yes, I need additional advice.

So as you know my exam is scheduled on 14th oct (Target score: 655).
And today I gave one more mock: 615 (Q82 V80 DI80). Reading Comprehension and Data Sufficiency questions are always challenging for me.
It was a GMAT Club free mock test. I rushed through 4-5 questions on each Verbal and DI section, but I have not left any question unanswered.

This is some improvement from the last mock that I mentioned above in my last post 565 (Q79, V80, DI75). As I mentioned before, I changed my study approach about 2 months ago: I started doing only question solving from Official Guide and GMAT Club in a topic wise and difficulty wise manner. I started seeing improvement immediately and started to score a bit higher.

My biggest issue is timing. I am a bit slow and sometimes distracted (even with optimum test environment). Without timing constraint, I have a lot better accuracy. I have learnt to use the appropriate framework to solve each question, but timing and lack of practice is an issue. Hence, for the remaining 7 days before exam, to improve my stamina and to practice timing, I am planning to give at least 1 sectional test everyday and 2 more full mock tests before the exam.

Please let me know if this is correct approach. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks & regards,
Piyush

I think your approach is solid, but just make sure you stop taking practice exams at least 48 hours before your GMAT, so you are as fresh as possible for your exam.
