Thanks for the reply!
Two Questions:
1) What have you all found to be the most effective? Go through all of the MGMAT guides and then start taking practice exams or just dive into the OG and do questions until I can't figure something out?
2) What are some strategies that work well for data sufficiency?
Thanks!

Welcome, mustgetin!

1) The MGMAT Guides are designed to be used together with the OGs - at the end of each chapter, you are provided with a list of the relevant OG questions for that chapter. I suggest you follow the guides and do as they say :) - i.e. when you are referred to the OG questions, do not just flip to the next chapter in the MGMAT book (as many of us have misfortunately done), but actually solve the questions and then move on.

2) many (including me + at least 1 pro-instructor, of whom I am a true fan) simply view DS as part of quant, i.e. master you GMAT quant skills & the DS problems will become much easier & clearer as part of the process, especially after you have acquired a feel for some typical patterns (through the OG)
You may also wish to browse the neat stuff on the DS board.

Good luck!

Thanks! I just did the Quant Diagnostic in the OG12 and found the PS section to be particularly demoralizing. More difficult than the GMATPrep exam. Anyways there will be many of what seem to be roadblock along the way but I hope to improve and keep a log here.

Thanks
