Hi guys,
I have scheduled my exam after a month currently I am struggling with SC.I have
analysed my error70 percent idiom error and 10-15 percent are silly mistakes.Currently I am able to correctly answer 50% questions.
Could you please suggest best way to improve these areas.

Make an error log and revise your mistakes. At least write down what you got wrong on each question. Sooner rather than later you'll be able to determine your weaknesses: whether you have weak areas that you need to address or you make silly, avoidable mistakes.

Practice makes perfect. You need to pratice more and learn many idioms/phrases/grammar rules in SC section. I would recommend you take e-gmat SC online course since it's ranked high among members' reviews.

Hi

For SC get a copy of Manhattan SC guide, it is best for learning each and every concept of SC in GMAT
For your mistakes in idioms make a list of Idioms frequently appears in GMAT Learn them thoroughly make flash cards
and practice idiom based questions
I did silly mistakes when i become overconfidence, means i just read the questions without knowing true meanings of the question
i rushed towards its answer choices and after reading 3-4 answer choice i thinks a particular choice is correct without reading all the answer choices
so to overcome these mistakes always read complete sentence know its meaning then read all of its answer choices and then select best possible asnwer

Thanks

There are only so many ways you can be tested on for SC -- just master the types of ways - and you will be in good shape for any SC question that comes your way. We call these types of questions "frameworks" -- the above is one example.

Idioms - You would have to learn the correct usage of idioms. There is no substitute for it. Manhattan has a good list. I am sure Egmat and Magoosh have equally good lists as well. Just open one of those documents and start cramming 5 idioms daily. Think about it. 5 idioms a day is not a huge task and you will cover a lot of ground within 15 days.

Silly Mistakes - Biggest reason for silly mistakes, irrespective of subject - quant or verbal, is insufficient practice. Next best reason for them is anxiety, which again stems from insufficient practice. Long story short, Practice More. You will gain confidence, eliminate silly mistakes, and hopefully reduce the average time per question.
