I don't see the download for Gmat Prep 2.0 available today on the site. Any body else seeing this issue?

I would assume the solutions they give for the question pack are dry and 95% of them are most certainly not the most efficient way to solve the problem, a la the Official Guides' solutions. I think I'll keep my money and keep using OG 12 and the supplements since better solutions to those questions are readily available on these forums. Besides, they've already gotten enough of my effing money.

Same problem for me. It's not available right now. Not sure why.

I guess they took it down for all the problems pointed by users.

If I install the new GMAT Prep test program, will it delete the old GMAT prep on my computer?

Posted from my mobile device

samwong i had installed a 2008 GMAT prep software in a separate folder last year, and then downloaded the current (well current in 2011) GMATprep software into another folder and run them separately.. you can try that for this one too.

Yes, I have the two installed in separate folders as well and both versions work fine.

Seems that they are fixing some errors and releasing a 2.1 version...
https://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index ... mment-5725

I have seen the 2.1 version (or even how to download it) but best is to step back from GMATPrep for 1 or 2 weeks
until the fix all the bugs. You don't want to test it out, go over the questions and not be able to analyse your score...

bb,
Could you check the difference in the file name between version 2.0 and 2.1 (bug fixes to the IR scoring section)?
The file downloading from https://www.mba.com/gmatprep
is named GMATPrep-2.0.272-Windows
(as of 4/8/12 12:00 PM US Central Time)

Is that the fixed file? Having doubt because of the naming convention...

BTW, Happy Easter!!

Hi, love this forum. I ended up scoring 750 on my exam and am helping a friend prep for hers. Her test is mid-May and on the old version. As such, we are looking for the download of the GMATPrep older version (i.e. since you can review prior tests, no IR). Advice on how to download it?

Thanks in advance friends.

Hi CaptainSnuSnu,
Ref. new-gmatprep-released-today-april-3rd-130163.html#p1069386
There is apparently 100% overlap with the GMATPrep older version questions.

Well, done the second GMAT Prep. and received a lower score than the first time (710 vs. 680). Got Q42 with an all time high of 16 mistakes and a V41 with 6 mistakes.

I did it after lunch and after all morning study so I hope the score is a result of lack of attention capacity and the burn out of the last couple of days where I studied an average of 10 hours per day and did 3 CATS in 3 consecutive days.

Since now is kind of late in Argentina I will review the mistakes tomorrow morning and after doing a quick review of my notes I'm going to take midday and all afternoon off to see if the declining performance is after all burn out.

Despite the result on monday I'm definitely taking the exam again as I feel I can do much better than this and I will definitely lern from this first phase of preparation

Has some one experienced the same? How did you deal with it? What are you recommendation for the future?

Thanks for the help

I took the first Test Examn and had 10 errors in quantitative as well as in verbal.
My total Score was 200, Q6 and V6.

Does that make sense? It was my first practice examn. If this is really the way the end score is calculated I better jump in front of a train...

Btw... I did the mistakes quite spread out, not all in a row.

I took the test yesterday and did not review my mistakes at that time, hoping I'd be able to get back to the page later. But now, the software does not show me a link to review my mistakes. All it shows is the graphs and numbers from my attempted exam and nothing else. I am using the Mac version of the software. Has anyone else faced a problem with this and found a solution to get to the page to review the mistakes for the attempted exam?

It's a feature.. not a bug... unfortunately

i am able to see my mistakes from the exercise i took a few days ago.

1. Click Practice
2. Then in the middle (Review) click "Try Incorrect Questions Again" or "Review Incorrect Questions"

However, I am not able to see the session or all questions - only the incorrect ones.
