Hi guys,

I was about to take my gmat exam online, but I had connection difficulties. I had checked my wifi and more and it was all sufficient. During the checkin I was unable to effectively connect, according to the proctor, thus I couldn't even attempt the test. I contacted the support already. I was wondering what I can expect: A refund, a reschedule (maybe to a test cernter) or nothing? Does anyone know?

Can someone help me with a doubt on this question?

I got D as an answer because statement 1 effectively tells us that x+10 should be an integer and therefore x must be an integer. You get an equation of y(2-x)=10 and there's only 1 +ve integer value of x for which the equation satisfies i.e. x=1 which is what we get in statement 2 by itself as well.

Can anyone explain to me why D is incorrect and A is insufficient?

So basically we have to find oats and raisins mixture, so when jump into statement 1 it’s definitely not because it’s say gronala information we don’t have to find that.
Statment 2, as we see it answer our questions we know the information about oats and therefore we can conclude that statement b is sufficient.

statement 1 says
- granola mixture should be packed in 1 pound bags
- therefore, granola mixture's volume is 10 + x
- therefore, 10+x must be an integer
- therefore x must be an integer
we also have an equation from the question stem which can be solved for one root with this constraint

Hello all,
It has been a few days after my first attempt at the GMAT and the result I got is unsatisfying to say the least - 515. I own the GMAT official quantitative and data insights prep, but my preparation process was all over the place and very unfocused. I can’t tell for sure that I know how something works or that I don’t. I am taking any suggestions as I plan on attempting again on the 16th of January in order to be able to submit my documents to Bocconi until the 22nd of January, their 2nd round of admissions deadline for the Masters of Finance. I am open to paying for tutoring, lessons, and what not.

Also every time I try to post a topic on the forum it tells me my account has been deactivated?
