Singapore management aptitude test

for SMU University

ishaan452356

@bb qq - i’ve taken 15 sectional mocks for quant so far and i observed that the first half of the tests had 0 easy questions whereas the next ones had 5-8 easy questions respectively. i think the proportion should be balanced throughout or is there a reason for gmatclub’s sectional tests to have this variance?
i think if you are able to do it in time then it is good for your official gmat exam, as gmat clubs tests are on hard consideration level , in official gmat you wont get this much hard question.

In the second episode of the AMA with GMAT Ninja, we break down why so many test takers misinterpret charts, compare the wrong quantities, misread axes and units, or do far more math than necessary. This session focuses on Graphs & Math-Based Questions, and we’ll address the exact issues students struggle with—including misleading scales, wrong comparisons (percent vs totals), unnecessary calculations, and assumptions the graph doesn’t support.

I’ve been using their sectionals for a while and completed 1 full length test. Many of their questions are from official mocks or previous years’ OG guides. The remaining questions on DI and Quant are probably more difficult than the actual test. Not sure about verbal though
You are mistaken. We do not use third party questions. All of our questions were written by experts and moderators on GMAT Club.

My observation,
We shouldn’t focus on the scores. For scores, the closest and only indicators are official mocks. However, I found Gmat club tests to be the next best in terms of quality of questions.
Verbal: Good questions but easier than the official ones.
Quant: Good questions but a lot of questions of algebra, Not enough word problems i felt which you get a lot in official exams. But nonetheless, Good quality tough questions to prepare you.
DI. Honestly, for DI..This is amazing, as you get used to a lot of different kinds of graphs/tables/MSRs which really helps....

I agree, for verbal to improve only option is to do official GMAT questions is it? cause even though I am doing good in GMAT club verbal questions, facing difficulty in understanding official questions (sometimes lengthy) -- any suggestions...

IMO, Yes. But gmat club verbal is good to build stamina for the exam and check accuracy. They have long RC passages and the ability to read and keep focus can be built. Moreover they are not bad, just a little easier than official ones. Thats what I felt. I in-fact found LSAT (CR) to be easier than official Qs, though helpful in building concepts.

Hi . Has anyone here taken TTP’s 4 month programme? I find their CR to be very tough! Is it just me or has anyone else felt the same way?
