The free test has a smaller question bank so the free test is at least for now less accurate than the paid tests.
However, looking at just the total score, is never helpful whatever analysis you do. You need to look at the sectional scores and that’s gonna tell you a story.
Also, even though the free test has a small question bank, it still uses the same algorithm so the scores should be fairly consistent between themselves and a lot of times the likely difference is your personal performance or a bit of luck in case you stumble into topics you’re really weak

The difference of score may depend on more than one factors and i don't know in what environments you have taken both of the mocks, what was you thought process while attempting the questions. Sometimes a fluke of correct answers and guesses going your way can also inflate score.

Right. Actually before this paid mock test, I took a bunch of individual section wise tests of GMAT club. And the scores were fairly decent, way better than the latter mock performance.
I was a lil weak in Verbal so I didn’t practice quant questions for a couple days. Can that also be a factor? Because the problem I’m facing rn is I don’t seem to be able to keep all 3 sections in check. One improves and the other goes down. How do i manage all 3? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
