Guys, need a suggestion regarding GMAT prep.

I'm using OG and GMAT Club right now. The problem with OG is that the questions are not properly arranged topic-wise. If I want to practice, say, Ratios or Number Properties in a structured manner, it becomes difficult.

With GMAT Club, there are tons of questions, but many times I feel that several questions are testing the same pattern with just different wording.

Can anyone suggest a good source (book/course/material) for topic-wise practice where questions are arranged properly and cover different patterns within a topic? Looking for something that helped you personally.

Can someone help me how to identify the patterns of question types, for eg. how to identify which question requires us to look at options first and which wants us to put in values?

Hi Sameerpra, since you mention CR as your specific area of concern, thought I would mention that our Critical Reasoning book Critical Reasoning Nirvana is perhaps the only book that offers a score improvement guarantee.

After reading the book twice (yes! it's an academic book, and so must be read twice in all seriousness, to reinforce the concepts), you will start looking forward to solving CR questions!

If you want to sample a chapter before deciding to go ahead with our book, please DM me your mail-id (along with the chapter that you would like to sample) and we will be happy to send that chapter to you by mail.

p.s. The book is available on Amazon and Flipkart.

Did you give an official mock by any chance? If yes, what was your Verbal score?

I scored 635 as my baseline in free Mock on mba.com. After watching only videos and little practice, scored 535 in the second free mock (verbal went down, other sections remained stable). Now I’ve been practising regularly on gmatclub, hope to score 660 atleast in upcoming mock.

To reach 700+ by end of mock 6, are gmatclub questions alone enough?

Hi people, I have scored around 6015/615 in my last 3 mocks. my average has gone up from 525/535 in around 3 months. I am not taking any classes, all self practice through gmat club questions and one other book for solidifying my quants concepts. However, I am stumped now. I don’t know how to increase my score further from here. My target is around 695. I don’t have such financial resources that I pay tens of thousands for online courses. Any suggestions/ideas?
