Ninja's videos stress me out, and I think they're better suited for more experienced viewers, not those just starting out.
which would you suggest for those just starting out?

I suggest checking out online courses or resources like TTP. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and this is especially true when it comes to investing time in personal growth even if it's learning GMAT.
TTP?

Before TTP I spent 6 months just to know what’s going on in GMAT. With 2 months subscription and 12 hours study, I could build my foundation.
Before their courses I had finished Manhattan, Art of problem solving, and my friend’s notes.
You spent a total of 12 hours over a 2-month subscription period? Or 12 hours per day?

Has anyone here taken both Experts’ Global and GMAT Club mocks?

I’m planning to buy one and would love to know:

* Pros and cons of each.
* Which one would you recommend if you had to choose only one?

Difficulty of Experts Global tests is more realistic if you are targeting a high score. They are not extra difficult which I find a positive.

GMAT Club tests are adaptive so the difficulty may vary but are generally more difficult than GMAT.

Also, GMAT Club provides flexibility of sectional practice that Experts Global does not.
