Yes, I got it in my first attempt, and I messed up the entire Di section because I spent too much time on MSRs

Yes, I got it in my first attempt, and I messed up the entire Di section because I spent too much time on MSRs

On my first attempt? It was really bad, maybe 74 or 75

It was 73, just checked. In my second attempt I was much more prepared and I skipped the msr questions, I got an 80

What do you mean by "skipped" MSR questions? You mean you randomly marked them?

Yes

That was my strategy, randomly mark it, and then come back to the questions if I have any time left

Hello everyone,
I am new on this platform but not to GMAT. I am standing someone around 530 in GMAT and I really want to improve. Can someone from you help me with better resources. Also, I am into TTP trial if someone has 2 week referral for me it would definitely help me..

Hi! Can anybody help me? I haven’t taken any GMAT test yet, so I don’t know my current score. Right now, I’m just practicing Verbal questions, and I’m completely new to this platform.

Could someone please guide me with a GMAT study plan or roadmap? I’m currently preparing for CAT as well, so I’d really appreciate any advice on structure my GMAT preparation. Thank you!

In my very honest opinion and I’m no expert myself, please stick to a lane. Cat or GMAT. Assess what you wish to achieve with an MBA and take the test which helps you get a better score.
The best bet ideally isto take a mock test from the free mocks on MBA.com
This will help you set a baseline.

I have known people preparing for the cat for two years oy score upto 520-530 as well as people who have really poured themselves to GMAT for three months nd got 700+ scores.
Hence target is important, followed by your sectional scores on your mock test, from here on out follow the GMAT Ninja 13 week plan from gmat club.
Hope this helps happy to answer any more questions

while i agree that one should stick to one -either CAT or GMAT (or GRE!), i suggest use CAT videos to learn Quant. They focus on fundamentals and different question types in a lot of detail. Maybe there are equivalent or even better GMAT resources, but I , for one, wasted a lot of time just drilling the questions without having seen those videos.

ok, but did you find time at the end to work on the MSR questions? Would you remember how many of those MSR questions you ultimately got correct?

No I didn't get any time to solve MSR questions. Got them all wrong, but because of that I could focus on rest questions and get them right
