I was really pressed for time at the end and randomly guessed for about 10 questions which wasn’t ideal. Thank you so much re: the subscription!! I will definitely give that a try tomorrow. My boyfriend (who has been through this before) suggested I take more mocks and see if the quant score improves at all. If not - I think I have to try my luck with the other exam.

You must be new to the gmat. Those are data sufficiency questions. They are unique to the GMAT. Every question has exactly the same answer choices and since everyone has memorized them, we don’t publish them, As they are a waste of space and a waste of time to read but of course the first time you encounter them, It’s super confusing 😇

I’m familiar with them, just wasn’t sure that the questions were consistent and universal as before this I’ve only used the official MBA website. Thank you!

👍 these questions are unique to the GMAT and a little weird… In the next generation of the GMAT, GMAT focus, these questions will be a part of the data insights section. Currently they are a part of the quantitative section. The bottom line is that you need them in both versions of the test but they will be in different places so to speak but you can ignore this information for now 👍

might as well ask since i’m here, is gmat focus the norm for most b schools now? has every school adapted? or do you think it best to take the regular GMAT? For reference I only plan to take my MBA in Europe.

Thank you for the speedy and lengthy responses thus far.

I have trouble justifying geometry and sentence correction questions for a business program and would rather work on my faults necessary for the work being entailed.

GMAT Classic goes dark on Jan 31, 2024. That’s about three months…. If a program does not adopt the new test, they might as well start taking swimming tests 😂 or maybe Apple Arcade achievements… so I think safe to assume everyone will adopt it.

Hi all,

I am posting this here with much dilemma. Looking for some suggestions from someone who were in similar situation.
I have been preparing for GMAT from 3 months. Initially i had enrolled in TIME GMAT online classes. I attended their video classes and later have been preparing from Official guide and official mocks. I have my GMAT focus edition registered for nov 23,2023. But till date my current average mock scores are around 520-530. My target score is 650+. Since i have only 20 more days for my exam,i am not able to decide if i have to reschedule my exam and take any other online subscription like e-gmat and prepare for 2 more months,,or should i go ahead and write my exam later figure out what to do.

Also would be grateful if anyone can provide feedback about egmat online subscription worth $300 for 4 months. Is it really worth?

Hi All,

I have been using gmat club for a month now. I was periodically able to download my error log from the site but since yesterday I am trying to do but it keeps asking me to select various headers before I download the log. Is there anyway I can download the entire error log

Hi Aaish13,

I recommend that you not make any major changes to your approach at this stage. Make sure that you get enough rest, and lock your timing strategy down, if you haven't already.

They have a trial… try and decide. But if you are wondering if it is worth $300 that’s compared to what? To using nothing? What’s your alternative?
