The most common reason for getting a business degree, MBA is to change career path. People want to switch their careers or career direction. If you’d like your job and you’re happy with how it was progressing, you would not spend a year taking the GMAT and applying and then take two years off work. So you have to have pretty strong reasons for getting an MBA.
The most common applicant is unfortunately a southeast Asian male engineer so developer from India or A nearby country would be in that pretty tough boat
and since Business schools want to diversify their class, and they want to have all kinds of people, that means more unique and diverse backgrounds are in higher demand or in shorter supply whichever way you wanna look at it and that’s require a bit less competition comes to test scores and such

Hey folks, I’m applying to Ross today without a GMAT score availing the GMAT waiter.
I qualify for the GMAT waiver criteria
Have GPA - 3.6/4 in Mech Engineering
Work ex - Analyst for 3.5 yrs (McKinsey & Co.)
Good extracurriculars
How many of you with similar profile have been successful in getting an interview invite from Ross without a GMAT?
