Firstly, it is an Indian myth that one can specialise in something with an MBA. So MBA in Finance, MBA in Marketing are misnomers. Just a personal view, given that I have done MBA twice (India and the UK). One does not become a specialist in a field by studying 4-5 courses in it. A dentist studies denistry for years before claiming the specialization.
So, the real question for you to assess is: do you wish to study MBA for skills in general management or do you wish to specialize in Finance? If the latter, then consider an MSc. in Finance.
Whether the decision to pursue a specialization in Finance is smart or not will depend on your 'why?' Do you have any evidence of interest in finance or is it just a feeling? If it is just a feeling, then how would you conclude that it is the right one?
