Non-official mocks: Kaplan vs. MGMAT vs Experts Global  [#permalink]

Hello,

I am approaching the mock taking phase of my study plan and need suggestions on which non-official mock to use to build test-taking stamina. I have to decide between (breaking SC rules?) Kaplan, MGMAT, and Experts Global mocks. I have heard/read mixed reviews for all three. For example, some test-takers said Kaplan gives inflated verbal score, quant section on MGMAT's mocks is not representative of real GMAT, and Experts Global verbal section has debatable answers. I currently have access to Kaplan and EG mocks. I am currently leaning towards using my Kaplan mocks since Kaplan has been in the game longer than the rest.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi bebs,

Give the non-official mocks to just build stamina for the real test and NOT for the score estimate.
Only take the Official mocks score for the score estimate.

Hi bebs,

Have you already completed the 6 official practice exams?

ScottTargetTestPrep No. I have one full official mock and the quant section of another official mock left. I already attempted official mocks 1-4 and verbal section of mock 5. The plan is to use the 1.5 official mocks closer to my retake date. I want to use the non-official mocks to gain some stamina and momentum before attempting the official ones.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi bebs,

You certainly could use any of the mocks you listed in your original post. Regarding the official mock you have left, take that one as your final practice exam leading up to your actual GMAT.
