Hey Folks,
I have been admitted to Mendoza's 1 year MBA program with full scholarship. However during the call when they told me about the decision, I had requested for a profile evaluation for MBA/MSBA program and they came back recently saying they are willing to give full ride for the 2 year dual degree program as well. I am confused between the main advantage of having an internship for seeking job as an International vs not spending an extra year away from job market.
I have 7.5 years of experience in business leadership roles as well as an entrepreneur and am looking at either Product management or Consulting as post-MBA careers.
Please suggest what would be a proper decision making framework to select between both the programs.

Taking both degrees make you consider many routes; the MBA and business analytics. Also, it means you are STEM which is huge benefit, especially the MBA in Mnedoza is not STEM as far as I know. Here you spend 2 years like any traditional MBA student but with dual degree in hot market for analytics. Take into consideration that you can do internship between 2 years which can help a lot. I know many 1 years MBA (in Kellogg) who was rejected into consulting as most big names choose form their interns. Again the STEM gives relief to you and employers.

I think this is the typical 1-year vs. 2-year MBA. That's something you may want to look into. It is almost irrelevant in terms of which program you are considering since brands are the same. You may want to think about opportunity cost, COVID recruiting and STEM. The 2-year degree does offer it but I don't think the 1-year MBA is STEM (something for you to find out).
