Hi everyone!

I've had an interview for NUS MiM-CEMS on Tuesday, which went quite well. I'm expecting a final decision within a 3-4 week timeframe, but I'm happy to connect! :)

I'm French and I graduated in finance from McGill in 2019. I'm currently doing an internship in London but I'm looking to do the MiM-CEMS offered at NUS.

Hello, I just received an interview for NUS MIM however Im not sure when I should apply for the CEMS?

Hi!

I've emailed the adcom asking for details as I've received some job offers in London that I needed to accept/turn down in a relatively short time.

They've indicated that we should get the outcome by mid-august + a (non official) spoiler on the outcome. If you're tight with other deadlines I recommend you to just email them.

Hi!

Personally, my interview was quite tailored around my profile, especially around my graduate studies at LSE in political economy. The interviewer asked me about my dissertation (methodology, findings etc), courses and opinion on different political systems (i.e. pros and cons of majoritarian vs PR, differences within the democratic rule of countries of my origin - Italy and Turkey - compared to Singapore).

As for the “standard questions”, you should be ready to motivate why NUS, why management (i.e how this programme fits within your goals), what you intend to do later and why Singapore (or Asia for that matter).

Hi All,

Just completed my interview. Wanted to post a debrief to give back to this awesome community.

Interviewers - 2 (1 Professor and 1 Adcom) went on for about 30 mins.

The Interview was fairly conversational and casual. I had actually prepped quite a lot but was fairly straight forward (Dont know what to make of it). Wasnt a blind interview and thy had gone through my resume and application before.

Following were the questions:

1) Brief overview of profile
2) Why MBA now?
3) Why Singapore / NUS?
4) looking at your profile, what exactly do you feel an MBA will provide which you already dont have
5) In case after the MBA you are forced to go back to India, how successful would you view your experience to be
6) How have interacted with people of different nationalities at work and what difference did you observe?
7) Apart from work what all do you do?
8) Can you rank the following on what is most important MBA aspect to you - Soft skill training, network, academics?
9) Any questions for us
