Let's move this thread to Masters forum to see if you find fellow NUS MFin applicants here. Congrats on the admit!

Thanks for your help! :) :) :)

Hi

I too have accepted the offer from NUS for Msc in Finance (2020 August intake). Happy to connect with everyone else who has accepted.

Congrats nick6c and dhairyasachdev. I've added app tracker and key links in first post. We are also circulating this thread to our social media channels so that other admits can join the conversation.

For the tracker, I didn't take GMAT and GRE (I took IELTS instead) , GMAT is not mandatory for MFin in NUS

I have submitted my application in the first week of February and haven't heard from the University. Is there anyone in the same situation.

Have you emailed the university?
Follow up once more if you have.
In case you still don't receive a reply, I would suggest you to look into other alternatives as well ( A lot of schools have waived off GMAT requirements in the light of the pandemic)

LBS, LSE, ESADE, St. Gallen, Vanderbuilt are some of the prominent schools offering waivers.
Others like HEC, ESSEC would be likely to offer it if a request for the same is submitted.
You can drop me a mail at support@mim-essay.com if you have any other programs in mind and would like to confirm if a waiver is offered.

I have followed up thrice and the University is sending only one response stating that all the applicants will receive reply by July.

Hi all,

I have an interview next week for NUS' MFin program. Is anyone willing to share her feedback/insight regarding the process?
Cheers,
A.

NUS Mfin interview was pretty non-technical. Questions range from why MFin,where you see yourself after graduating from NUS Mfin, other programs which you have applied, which would you choose between Mfin and other programs you have applied (assuming you got accepted by all). Anything else should be pretty basic, no need to sweat yourself over it.

Appreciate your inputs on interviews. I am guessing you already got an admit, right?

Yes, I was in the first round. Interviewed late January, was admitted 1 month after (somewhere in late February). Looking forward to meet my classmates in person this August

I got the interview this morning, it went well and was in line with what indoboy21 and nick6c had mentioned.
I appreciated how honest the interviewer was, as he made clear that full-time placement in Singapore was challenging for international students (even graduating from an SG uni).
They'll get back to me with a final decision within 3-4 weeks.
