In NYU Langone application, for providing Employment History, where should one put the promotions?

The table has only, Employer Name, Position/Title, Dates of Employment, Starting salary/Ending Salary/Bonus, Reason for leaving.

If i held three positions in the same company with 2 promotions, should i list that as one entry or 3 entries? If one entry where should we put the promotions?

thanks
sv6

I handled that using the "Reason for Leaving" column. I put "N/A (Promotion)" for each of them.

Wow, they're taking a long time huh? The status site still has your waitlist letter as the decision letter?

Yes it does have the status as WL. I hope it does not change to a reject letter now. Also since the db count is on the rise so I am guessing its a reject. Furthermore I was told that I cannot re-apply till I get a decision on my current application, which I should be getting any time between now and 15th sept.

Yeah, I was stuck in the same bucket last year, incredibly annoying! I don't think I was rejected until the end of Sept. Good luck man!

For those who have taken the Quantitative Skill Assessment, I have couple of questions:

1. How many questions are there?
2. How long does the exam take?

1. How many questions are there?
2. How long does the exam take?

1. I think there were 37 questions.
2. I didn't sit down to do it all at once so I'm not sure but I'll guess it would take an hour in one sitting.

By the way, if you don't pass the first time, you have a chance to go back and simply correct your incorrect answers the 2nd time. The intent is to be sure that you have the skills, not really for the test itself to be a hurdle.

SternPT,

Thank you for the insight.

Reversemix- So I am guessing you did not apply for Spring 2008? Also you mean to say that NYU does not give a final notification about your application status? So they just leave you hanging in there? Man that would suck!
