Explain it, its meaning and how you expect it to work, the value it has in explaining your background. I saw one of my friends essay 3's the other week (he still has a few sets of the thing he did). It is awesome. I am really hoping it is one thing I get to dig through next year.

As per NYU Stern's website: "May 15 application deadline: Your online application must be submitted by midnight New York time on 5/15. Mailed materials must be postmarked by 5/15."

You have 24 hours and 13 minutes...

I just mailed my essay 3 and transcripts...just have a bad feeling...still not convinced that essay 1 is good and dreadine on uploading it.
Why do they give us just 250 words for such a critical essay and 500 for personal expression....I much rather use it for my career.

I feel your pain with the essays - I keep staring at them hoping I can write something brilliant before the deadline. I'm off to mail Essay 3 now - one less thing to worry about!!

I finally submitted last nite. For those who have already submitted, did anyone get an email confirmation of the submission?

Right after I paid and hit the submit button, I got a popup message that one (unspecified) required field on the international supplement form was not filled out. I think there was only one 'continue' button on the popup which submitted the app. I just wonder if my application is 'incomplete' now coz I never got to fill in the 'missing' field?

Suggestion to all applicants - check your spam folder religiously. Once admissions has made a decision, you'll receive an e-mail from 'decisions@stern.nyu.edu' with the subject line 'NYU Stern MBA Admissions' which will say the following:

I hit submit on mine at 8:00 PM only because guests were coming for dinner and I knew I wouldn't have time after....

I don't know if everything got posted well...will freak out for sometime now I think...well headed to India so atleast a little bit of a distraction....

Yeah, ditto with feeling sick of the whole thing - I started to re-read the requirements near the end, each time finding some potential loophole. You saw how I posted about the deadline! And the package sizes! This was nuts...or maybe I'm just nuts? :roll:

I'm wondering - do people on this forum ever reveal what they did for Essay 3, just so prospective applicants can get an idea? I didn't really see any older posts about it but I could be wrong.

I received my application status about seven months ago - I'm a current Stern student. :) Just wanted you all to know what to expect so you don't go crazy unnecessarily checking the application website.
