In some prior posts, the number of students in the student database was referenced. See page 6 of this thread under Tenore's post about the analysis of the wait. I don't know where to find this student database. Does anyone know where this is? How many students are in the database right now?

My understanding is that NYU wants to look at more applicants because maybe they feel that they want more "diversity" in their incoming class.
