How long does it typically take for the Kroll verification process to be completed ? Do they call the main number and ask for HR ?

I think they call the number you put on its website. (but I am not very sure).

Hi guys,

My verification was done real quick...in about a week. I got admitted back in early Oct or so.

GL!

As far as PT vs. FT. As most know, FT is a better bet for career switchers, but it is a tough bet given the economic environment. But hey...getting older in your current field is not going help your new field. I think you need to go for it.

Hi Guys,

Did you receive any confirmation from admissions etc saying your verification was completed successfuly ? I didnt get anything but I do see my name in the current student DB.

Should I assume "No news is good news" ?

You will get an email from NYU Stern that says Welcome to the program once verfication is complete. Your name will be in the database once you pay your deposit. It doesnt depend on verification.

I got in!!! Washington square weekend program. Got the email this morning. My stats are on a previous post.
I am soooooo happy. I lost my job last week =( Surely this should help me in my job search.

I am still wait listed. I think it is more or less "game over" (although, I want to believe it is not the case). My understanding is that you have ~250 positions for spring and they are still accepting applications.

Although, the EMBA admissions contacted me if I would be interested in their program. Because of the sponsorship situation I had to respectfully decline and I am waiting to hear anything from Langone.

Still 240 at 9:22am.
My name is not yet on the list. I was accepted Wednesday and I sent my deposit confirmation yesterday. I might not be the only one... so expect a higher number to show up shortly.
Thought it was 300 admitted students for Spring? I remember seeing it on the Langone website somewhere.

I think the Spring is about 250, Fall is about 300. Last year I think the Spring class was around 260.

Also given the increase in applicants you'd think that they might be closer to that number this year (as long as they are qualified candidates). Who knows? But we are only 11/21 and notifications can go out until the last day.
I also suspect that if it is a strong deny that you would hear from them sooner than later. It also depends on when you finalized your application (all the missing pieces if any) which was my case and delayed their review.
