Let the bottles collected by each of the boys on day 1 be X, Y and Z
In the question, it is given that (X+Y+Z)/3=20, (X+Y+Z)=60
Day 1: X+Y+Z= 60
Day 2 (Double of Day 1)=120
Day 3: Double of Day 2=240
Day 3: Double of Day 3: 480
Overall total: 900
