What does everybody think about accredited online MBAs? Are those actually worth pursuing for somebody who is not just looking for a promotion in their current position?

Info regarding legitimate universities only, none of this Uof Phoenix, Strayer, Ashford, Keller, and Capella stuff.

Dear MBA4Jay,
Just saw this post; not sure if the question is still relevant but here goes.

You may find the post here useful to get a little more insight into this.

In general, accreditation may not necessarily be an indicator of quality or value of a program.

I being tried for online mba and not all that possible happening now my brother looking for mba, but affaid for carrier opportunities.

Right, in terms of career placement, only mba's are relatively limited. Although the degree itself does not say "online MBA," schools treat online MBAs way differently. For example, online graduates don't usually have career fairs or networking events tailored specifically to online students. Nor are they allowed to attend the full time MBA career events. :roll: You get what you pay for, I guess. No such thing as a free lunch in business.
