Hi, while filling the employment section for Oxford Said, I am required to describe my current role.
The problem, - I have been just 1 month into my current role, which is being part of a core member of a startup. - The previous role was 3+ years long and that is where the crux of my work experience lies
Any suggestions?

Isn't there a place where you can describe your past experience?

Definitely talk about your previous role instead. That's what the admissions team want to hear about. There is little point wasting application space discussing a role you have only been in for a few weeks.

I was in a similar position. I quickly described my current role in 2-3 sentences and dedicated the rest of the space for my former role. I think that’s the best approach.

Ok, I see and that makes sense. Did you get in touch with the admissions committee (or vice versa) about this? Because my former role ended in July (Laid off) and if I literally go by 'current' doesn't seem too current anymore.

I had completed my application in Round 1 and got the interview call. So I assume they were okay with the approach I followed for this section.
