I'm really not sure what is going on but something doesn't feel right to me. Today is definitely just ding day but if you look at last year's GMATClub stats vs. this year, its puzzling to say the least.

Of course some people haven't posted updates since receiving the call, but the current tally of admitted students in R2 this year for Michigan is at 12. Last year, 80 GMAT Club members indicated they were accepted by Ross in R2.

Last Year: 80 confirmed acceptances
This Year: 12 confirmed acceptances (as of now)

Although I have no idea if it's true, I have read elsewhere that the R1 yield was higher than normal in the 2015-16 admissions cycle. Ross are also quite open about the fact that their target class size is slightly lower this year. So it wouldn't be a total surprise to see some changes...

I've seen people write in forums that Ross is reducing its class size by 20% for the class of 2018. Can anyone cite a source for this information? I know that Ross has already reduced its class size in the past several years from ~500 to ~400, so are they reducing it another 20% for the class of 2018 to <350?

Soojin mentioned that they are reducing class size in her introduction on my interview day. She didn't mention 20% though.

Hello brio,

There will be a google group the adcom adds everyone to, to facilitate admits to connect. That's how it was for classes of 2014-2016 (admits in late 2012, 2013 and early 2014).
