That sounds like status updates when ordering pizza. :-D In all seriousness, business schools won't give you detailed updates on your application. (Some schools with rolling admissions may do, but I've never heard of that.) In the case of Wharton, interview invites will go out on February 7, so don't expect anything until then.

In my experience, the portal status doesn't mean anything. While Wharton may be different, my portal status for other schools has been "Submitted" even after I have received final decisions across the entire range (accept, waitlist, deny).

It'll perpetually be in the "Ready for Review" state.
It still does for me, even though I got waitlisted in R1.

I don't have a definitive answer, so take it with a pinch of salt, but I would expect any work experience as part of another degree or course to not satisfy the requirements of full time work experience.

Does anyone know when the interviews took place last year? I looked at the activity in last year's thread and got a general sense, but was wondering if anyone had more insight with specific dates. In particular, how late do they go? (end of Feb? early March?)

I noticed that on Wharton's website no campus visits are scheduled between February 11 and March 11 (https://mba.wharton.upenn.edu/events/), so my guess is that the interviews on campus happen during that time. But that's just a guess.

Last year they went from Feb 14 - Mar 2. Hope that helps!
