So going over should be OK, but it's not a bad idea to check with admissions.
It really varies from school to school on the policy for recommenders going over word limit ie IESE and Texas allow 200 more words, HBS about 100 more, but Kellogg is very firm on 300. So would not assume they would necessarily read past 300. probably but its a simple email to put your mind at ease.

Could someone please help me with a LOR question?
Wharton is a one-off with the LOR submitted on the portal itself. The guidelines mention 300 words (7500 chars max). My recommender is asking if they have to chop and slice down to 300 or if they're within 350 words the portal will validate and accept?
Not sure what to tell my recommender ... 7500 chars is a ton but not sure if the portal validates for words or characters. Thanks!
