Hello everyone,

In this link you can find the current events for Tuck@Dartmouth. I strongly suggest that anyone interested in applying to Tuck should attend at least one of those.
For example, there's a coffee chat tomorrow with the director!

Hey Andres,

andresgmat1987 Thank you so much for that link!

I & texas101 are really active at Tuck's virtual events. I happen to attend one event last week with the admissions director. It was an amazing event! Trust me, there's no school that organizes such curated events.
I also know that Networking is the key for Tuck, and attending such an event instills a sense of belongingness.

Hey all!

Looking forward to going through this year's application cycle with everyone. I'm going to be applying before the September 1st deadline. I've been going to quite a few of the online events with admissions/alumni/current students and can honestly say my excitement for Tuck is through the roof! Hope to see you all there next year :)

Hey,
Are you talking about the early action for Tuck? Not sure if Tuck has it.

Hi Amit,
I see most of the events are full and the others are not so time friendly for me. Have you registered in all events in advance in IST friendly timings?

Also, another important question, I'm looking for application fee waiver as the application fee is very high. Did you guys get it? Please guide me here.

I'm new to the site so I don't think I can post a link. But if you go to Tuck's latest 360 blog (posted July 31). Luke Pena states all applications recieved prior to September 1st will be guaranteed an interview slot. They are doing this as Tuck has always had a method for guaranteed interviews. Historically, if you visited campus, you could have an applicant initiated interview, however, due to COVID this is not possible. Thus the admissions team has created a new way to guarantee an interview.

I have been following Tuck for quite some time now. I don't think you need to register for all the events as it is limited in number.
You can attend 1 or 2 events, and leave the space for other applicants too. Registering in more than 2 events may not be very useful as things will get repetitive. As you are from India, I will recommend these two events:

1. Virtual Coffee Chat with Admission Director
2. Chat with Indian Alums

Do remember that the best way to know about Tuck is to connect with a TUCKIE. You can do that by finding their e-mail-ids on Tuck's Website. Here: https://www.tuck.dartmouth.edu/admissio ... onnections

Hope this helps!

Thanks
Amit

kelzo123 Yes, my excitement for Tuck is through the roof as well. definetely my #1 by a mile. how is your application coming along??

aaditya005 https://www.tuck.dartmouth.edu/admissions/important-dates if you look below the timeline, there is a disclaimer that now reads "All applicants who submit a complete application by September 1, 2020 are guaranteed an interview." Also I did not receive a Tuck application fee waiver. I am not sure how one goes about pursuing a waiver if they are in a financial situation that would prohibit them from applying without a fee waiver. I would reccomend reaching out to an adcom.

texas101 Agreed! Tuck is my number 1 too, so I hope to see you there next year! I'm assuming you're from Texas, so both of us will bring the flavor of Texas to New Hampshire ;)

The essays are going well! Just trying to make sure I showcase who I am in my essays and not just reiterate pieces of my application. How are the essays treating you?

kelzo123 yeah, hope to see you in NH next fall. Would also be fun to have a Texas happy hour if we are admitted! I live in Houston, work in O&G. Are you in Houston as well?

I finished Tuck's essays first and am just in the proofread stage. Also waiting on my recommenders to come through before I submit. I did the Tuck essays first when I was fresh haha. Starting to get a bit jaded now on writing essays.
