Anyone received interview call after the application deadline? I submitted on the last day of the deadline.

Many applicants seem to have received interview invites for R1. Some even in as soon as 3 days after submitting.
I submitted my app on 23rd Sep, and the LORs were submitted on 25th Sep. Still waiting for the interview call.
Hopefully, the process of calling for interview is random and we should hear from admissions soon.

Can someone tell if the interview call status will also be updated on the application portal?

I received an interview invite and my portal looks exactly the same as it did before. Applied on the deadline.

Are people getting invites to Tuck R1 post 7th October? Getting a little nervous now since most of the invites were received on 7th October.

I think the invitation process is still underway. The info on Tuck website says that interview invitations could be sent even a week before the decision date and the timing of invitation doesn't indicate their level of interest in the applicant.
FYI, two users on Clearadmit.com updated livewire indicating that they had received interview invites on Oct 8th.

Hey all, I got my invite yesterday. I applied in the last day of deadline. I think the interview invites are being sent in batches and so, I would say not to worry about the invites or lose hope. All the best.

How bad is a lower GRE going to hurt you!

I have a 315 gre, which is lower than the 320 as per class profile

so would it have an absolute negative impact?
Is it a direct reject?

Nothing is a direct reject, you would have to surpass the lower score with some big spikes in you profile though. Like very good extra currics or work experience. Something that sets you out

hey everyone, shameless plug, but I talked to April Salas recently at the Revers Center for Energy. It was the best conversation I've had with any administrator (not sure she's really an administrator but oh well) at the schools I am applying to. If you are in the energy sector, or looking to transition into the energy sector, I highly recommend chatting with her. She spent about an hour with me hashing out what the center does, how it can support my transition from traditional Oil and Gas (I'm at Shell Oil) to renewables, and just overall telling me about the Tuck community. Other than talking with existing students, this was by far the most informative conversation I have had.

Going to be a long wait till December!

Pretty sure many applicants to Tuck(including me) are interested in the Revers Center for Energy. Thanks for sharing this with us!!

I believe all decisions will be published together on December 10. Also, interview invites can be sent pretty close to the decision deadline as well (I believe this was mentioned in the Tuck website).

All the best.
