Hey All, Is there anyone who was denied admission last year after interview got admitted this year? I wanted to know as a reapplicant what does tuck requires? Do they interview the reapplicants and do the reapplicants even have a chance at Tuck ?

It's too early in the morning for me to figure out if I meet your required years, but I am a currant Tuckie who got in on the second try.

First time I applied I found myself on the wait list until I ran out of time and was dinged. Second time I got a promotion at work, took a leadership position in nonprofit, and improved my essays and got in. I know lots of reapplicants who got in up here.

My recommendation is to not try the same thing twice. If you didn't get in, you probably have an area that can be improved. Get feedback from admissions and use it to make yourself a better candidate. Reapplying also signals you are serious about enrolling if you get in - why is that a bad thing?

You will reinterview and the application is mostly like you didn't apply before except you need one LOR and there is a box where you can check that you are a reapp.

Anyway, it is rough getting that ding. I feel for all of you, because I have been there. Try again, but be strategic. Who knows what can happen? :-)

Hello Everyone,my question is for Indian Admitted students: Since embassies are closed and with todays news of US consulates getting affected and 2 died, scope of them operating at normal pace seems to be rare, so are you people going to defer or what ?

@Rohilgmat - I can’t speak for Indian admits, but I can connect you to current Indian students if you are interested in talking to people who handled it this year. My gut feeling is that it will not be a rough for you as it was for the international students that started this year. Send me a DM.

As usual, decision day is nerve wrecking, so I am clinging onto anything I can - does anyone know at what time admits in R2 received their call?

Good luck everyone! Calls often take much of the afternoon, so try to distract yourself with other stuff, but keep your phone close. Again, best of luck to all! :-)
