Hello all,
can someone please explain the parabola in coordinate geometry and its application. I tried to understand using gmat club maths book but couldn't understand.
If someone can explain it would be of great help. And please do post important blog links and important topics for coordinate geometry.

Hi nik256,
Quant questions involving a parabola are incredibly rare on the GMAT (you will likely NOT see one on Test Day). Thankfully, even if one does show up on your Exam, those types of Co-ordinate Geometry questions can almost always be solved by quickly 'graphing' the equation so you can see how it curves, where it crosses the X-axis or Y-axis, etc.
Have you seen any specific questions of this type that you found particularly challenging?
