Hi
Atulsingh2494,
I totally get where you're coming from, and I like your idea of petition

. But worry not, we’ve already started softening things a bit.
But here’s a thought: what if working through these tougher Quant questions actually prepares you better for the real exam than the official mocks do? Would you still prefer to stick with just the easy-to-medium ones?
Personally, I’d rather stumble during practice than feel lost on test day. I found my official Quant section noticeably tougher than the official mocks (and I was consistently scoring perfect Quant scores in mocks so was getting the hardest questions available). If I hadn’t challenged myself with GMAT Club forum questions or these brutal Quant tests (which I often didn’t ace either), I would’ve walked into the center with a false sense of comfort. And that moment of surprise can really throw you off.
Since GMAT Quant has such low mistake tolerance, I’d always lean toward preparing on the tougher side as it sharpens your instincts and builds the mental grit you’ll need on test day.
