If you're serious about the energy industry you should give a good look at UC Denver's MSc GEM program. When I was looking at energy management programs, that one had the best curriculum. It's not a MBA degree, but it's offered through the business school. You also have the option of doing a dual degree MSc and MBA, which is a great option. This program is AACSB accredited.

In the U.K. Check out Middlesex university. They have partnered with an industry education group, and offer a good looking MBA with oil and gas concentration.

It really depends on how much your making now, and how much you're willing to sacrifice for your career. If you are a hard worker and can solve business problems, you'll be worth more to your company. Ask yourself if what you're doing is adding value to your company. The GEM program gives you the knowledge and understanding to maximize the value you can add to your company in the energy industry, but ultimately it's up to you to deliver tangible results to the bottom line. The same is true of any MBA program.
