Hi, this is the discussion thread for PGP Program at IIM Nagpur. In addition to domestic candidates, IIM Nagpur has decided to consider overseas applications for the first time for its Post Graduate Program 2019-21. For the purpose, the following are considered as ‘overseas candidates’:
Any Indian or foreign passport holder who is: • Working or studying or residing outside India with a valid passport or travel documents for at least 18 months in the preceding three years (1 January 2016 to 31 December 2018), and • Not in a position to take the domestic entrance examination for admissions to IIMs viz. the Common Admission Test (CAT 2018).
In other words, any candidate whether holding Indian or Foreign passport, who is in India on the day CAT 2018 was conducted will NOT be eligible to apply under the Overseas candidate category. The CAT 2018 was held on November 25, 2018.
The admission process at IIM Nagpur takes into account the candidate’s Academic Performance (AP), Work Experience (WE), performance in Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), and performance in Personal Interview (PI).
Any overseas candidate who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply: • Undergraduate degree or higher (in any discipline) with a minimum of three years’ duration from a university recognised as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent GPA. • A valid Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score, a minimum score of 650 (GMAT taken before January 31, 2014, will not be considered).

It basically means they are asking for GMAT instead of CAT from NRIs or Foreign students.
