­I used a collage and have seen other cases of people using them.

You may use a collage; there are no hard and fast rules and you are free to interpret the essay prompt as per your best understanding.

You may use a collage as long as each collage has a unifying theme. Do not forget that creative multimedia essays live or die to the extent that they communicate some passion or experience that's deeply important to you and show you to be an engaging, world-directed, socially skilled achiever. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.

­Don't suggest using a collage for each of the six pics, 1-2 are good enough. I remember the adcom mentioninging this.
