I have 4 yrs of experience and now planning to write GMAT after messing up with CAT(Quant 99% and Verbal 75%). I'm very strong in Quant and very weak in Verbal.
I'm digging the forums to find out books but it would be great and owe you a lot if someone who already given the test helps me. I'm targeting a score of 760.

I have a few questions about the CAT that you mentioned:
1) Had you done any studying before taking that CAT?
2) Which CAT did you take?
3) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT (including the Essay and IR sections)?
4) When you referred to 'messing up', what does that mean exactly?

My suggestions. Just keep in mind that I took the CAT a long time back.
1. Your quant score is excellent. You should be on track for a Q50 or Q51 on the GMAT. Try taking a GMATPrep if you want to check, but I really think that you'll find PS a cakewalk.
2. You'll need a V40+ to get a total GMAT score of 760. Target V42. That's 96% (40 is 91 percentile).
You'll need to pull your verbal score up if you want that 760, which is pretty much the same situation you find yourself in anyway. Try taking a GMATPrep to see just how close you are to that score. You should solve a few GMAT questions of each type before you take the GMATPrep so that you are not completely unfamiliar with the question types and the structure of the exam.
