Then Operations Management makes the most sense - you want to present to the AdCom a path that's credible. In which geography do you wish to work post-MBA?

Thanks for replying..
I have a profile which fits in to operations management as i worked as panel charge operations engineer in a 250 MW subcritical coal fired unit for the initial 3 years of my 8 years in the organization, the remaining five years i worked in the Planning and Administration division of the 750 MW (250 MW* 3) thermal powe r station..i can well handle a team with the leadership skills I possess.
In, Marketing i dont have any hands on experience. This may be an alternative career option.

I want to pursue MBA from United states.
I want to work in Global strategy consulting IN retail/FMCG/manufacturing for organization like Amazon, Procter and Gamble, Ford. I will be willing to relocate to any province/country if the nature of work contemplates my interest.US is the first preference though.

Thank you for your reply! All of the top US schools have strong connections with management consulting firms, so you can't go wrong in that sense. So then, it's a matter of determining which is the best fit for you based on culture of school, geography, and class size (these can greatly impact the experience you have, so pay attention to your preferences as you research). Your GMAT score is solid, but given that you come from a heavily representated demographic, if you're able to raise it by 20+ points that could definitely benefit your candidacy for the top 20 schools.

I think you'd greatly benefit from a 30-min. conversation where we can discuss your profile in greater depth - you can sign up for the free consultation here: https://www.mbamission.com/consult/?dis ... admissions

Thanks and hope to connect soon!
