per cup parakeet-days feeding = 15*7/35 = 3
Required parakeet-days = 12*9=108
Therefore number of cups =108/3= 36
Ans = B

Let's go step-by-step.
35 cups are used over a 7 day period, which means 5 cups a day. This feeds 15 parakeets, which means each parakeet needs 1/3 of a cup every day.
For 9 parakeets, we need 9*1/3cups = 3 cups a day. Over 12 days, we need 36 cups. Choice B.
