On CR taking some time, what happens during the test i somehow end up getting confused between 2 options off late and mark the wrong one but on review clearly get where i went wrong. RC drastically has gone down over few tests.
Hi kreel11,

You mentioned taking 2 official practice tests and 5 nonofficial tests.

1. When you say that you get "confused between 2 options", are we talking about official practice tests/questions? Keep in mind that the quality of nonofficial verbal questions is (generally, not always) quite low, and that's one reason many test takers struggle to mark the right answer.

2. Are you targeting harder questions? That could also explain the drop in accuracy.

It mostly happened during the recent experts global mock and also questions on forum quiz. I am usually doing 605 to 705 mostly questions are above 655 level. I have some part of verbal review left for CR, for RC have done that already and the OG I have already done. So now since I need more questions amd practice I am using forum quiz.

Can you also probably.look at the mock analysis posted for last 4 mocks and help me how to approach or practice. Currently I have done OG guide and in middle.of quant and verbal review. For DS going through OG and did some questions of TPA. Since i have only pdfs of all OGs 24-25 there isnt any code for unlocking additional questions. I also have forum quiz subscription which I am using for.practice. But if you can let me know how to.practice, how many questions Ina session for targeted practice and measuring my performance before I take mocks that would help. Also nowadays I generally write mocks in a span of 2 or 3 weeks since verbal/DI needs improvement. I tried to revisit my.notes and youtube videos for RC/CR recently as well.

Please provide your feedback on the same as I need to now accelerate my prep and schedule gmat. Target score is 665+

I'm really sorry, but maybe other forum members can help you out on this, as I generally try to avoid sources that I don't recommend to my students.

Do you want to take an official practice test instead? Those tests aren't perfect, but they are generally better than nonofficial tests.

Sure I plan to take an official test as well but meanwhile can you just provide me inputs on practicing DI and verbal in specific..apart from the og guides(without add ques banks). Are forum quiz/gmatclub questiob banks fine and like how many questions to use for practice sets I.e. as of now I have been using forum quiz and og filtering like 5-6 questions of DI with specofic topics in one session. For verbal its like 3 rcs at once or 14 CR ques set. For quant mostly 21 ques set from either og/forum quiz.

More or less I wanted to know
regarding practice approach that needs to be followed since it's been long for me.preparing and I intend to schedule my exam.soon

Hi kreel11.

For Verbal and DI, I think your move is to change from simply doing a certain number of questions per day to shooting for streaks.

For CR, you could use LSAT questions and shoot for streaks of 15 medium and 15 hard questions correct in a row.

For RC, you could use LSAT passages as well and shoot for streaks of 15 questions correct in a row.

Also, to get better at CR, DI, and RC, you likely have to get better at Inference types of questions. So, doing many LSAT Inference CR questions could help a lot.

I've also just sent you a doc with Inference questions you could practice with.

Hi kreel11,

I see many of you questions have been answered, but as many have said, I do think your next move should be to take an official practice exam. Regarding how to improve in DI and Verbal, here are a few helpful articles to check out:
