my last hope is kellogg

dinged from all other schools

what are chances of admit in last week? Is it pretty much over..Of course bsed on last yr ppl hve got call on last day..but those are rare

I hope not. I looked at last years posts and it seems like the calls reported went out over a two day span.

Don't give hope, man. K still calls up applicants with admits and plenty folks get admitted at later stage. It isn't over until the fat lady sings.

commiseration on your dings, I know how it feels. You are just in an ueber competitive pool. You in for R3/R4 or reapply in fall?

Commiserations to all those who have already received their ding mails. I got mine last week, right on the heels of a Booth ding, and am still recovering from the one-two punch. Anyhow, I've decided to re-apply in Fall 2011, and have begun blogging to get me through the entire process. Its actually quite cathartic. Hope to see most of you here again over the course of the year :-D .

I got an email saying my admission decision is now available online, but when I try to check my status here's what I get:

Kellogg Status Check

I have been stressed while waiting with everyone else and had sort of resigned myself to the fact that I probably am going to be dinged from Kellogg, but tonight I got a fortune cookie that says, "Keep your eyes open on Thursday for a special oppurtunity." Now I am convinced that the cookie was talking about a late offer being extended from Kellogg on Thursday. I mean, 1.3 billion Chinese people can't be wrong..... can they?

Just checked my status and confirmed that I've been dinged for MMM.

Stats:
Interviewed Mid-Jan off campus
M/3.6 GPA/ 750 GMAT/Engineering U Grad/Manufacturing for 3 years
Located in Western Canada

Good luck to everyone still hoping. This is definitely a very sad day for me.

commiseration on your ding, hope GSB works out for you. Just curious, do Bschools put you by your
1) nationality: US applicant pool and subdivide in engineering WE or
2) heritage: Indian male IT pool regardless
