KishiQ
Hi everyone,

I have 7years of experience working as a mechanical design engineer and now want to pivot away from technical roles (not passionate about + not great at ME). I am applying for MBA program in 2025. I think because of my age (I'm 31 and will be 32 when start MBA), IB and consulting is pretty much out for me. I'm also very unfamiliar with all the different concentrations and opportunites open with MBA. I was thinking about going into product management focused on hardware, corporate finance (but what does this even mean?) or maybe corporate leadership program (does this have age limit or preference?). Open to consulting if that's a possibility and think I can handle the work load for at least a couple years. Anyone with similar background can provide some insight?
Thank you!

KishiQ        I have written extensively on this topic because every week so many engineers and people from industrial domains reach out asking about career prospects post MBA. I myself have a background in industrial design and management and I know the confusion that can limit the MBA aspirants from doing well on the applications. Should you want professional advise feel free to speak.
