C. Nutritionists sometimes disagree on how much of a fruit or vegetable constitutes a complete serving.

Let's say, 1/2 fruit constitutes a complete serving. The fact that people eat far less than the currently agreed upon complete serving could be weakened by the fact that, in actuality, only 1/2 fruit constitutes a complete serving and that much serving people do consume. Doesn't it reduce belief in the conclusion and thus weaken it?

Kindly help resolve this dilemma :(

The option says sometimes.. sometimes the nutritionists do not agree on the quantity per serving. So sometimes does not make this option a strong weakened.

Moreover sometimes when they disagree , the disagreement might be on the quantity being less or more. Nothing has been mentioned about the type of disagreement.

Hi sagarsangani123

We are given in the argument as a fact "Nutritionists believe that a person's daily requirement for vitamins can readily be met by eating five servings of fruits and vegetables daily." so even though nutritionists sometimes disagree, 5 servings should be consumed according to them. This option gives more like an opinion breakdown of nutritionists but we only worry about the overall opinion from nutritionists.
