Imho, they are good for establishing a baseline (relatively), or used as sectional mocks to practice timing strategy.

I have taken the free mock provided by gmat and 1 free mock by egmat and am planning to take 2 more (magoosh and gmatclub) is that alright?

I’ve never used e-gmat or Magoosh, so can’t comment on the question quality. But the Quant questions on GMAT Club are excellent to get exposure to harder questions as well as variety of question types. Depends on your purpose - if you want to understand your potential score, nothing comes close to the official mocks on mba.com, as they own the official question banks as well as the scoring algorithm.

they are just too expensive imo so, I have avoided buying them

There are two official exams that are free, and each can be taken twice without repeated questions.

I think they have a similar question bank, I took mock 1 3 times and mock 2 one time. I did get a few common ones in mock 1 3rd attempt, i did get new question

I see. Most people don’t get repeated questions at least for the 2nd time. Hard to say for the 3rd time...

No, I got around 3 repeated question in Mock 2 1st attempt( the repeated questions were from mock 1)

I see. Then that’s all the options I know. But there are many other ways to learning GMAT. I never feel taking mock exams can replace real learning.

nah, taking mocks is way too important, I got near 550 when I first took a mock, could not focus on it
