I am going to be applying in round 3
There is a misconception about R3 and R4 applications, suggesting that people don’t get accepted into colleges in these rounds. In reality, each round offers an equal chance of admission, provided your profile is strong enough. I applied in R3 and was accepted into all of the following: HEC, INSEAD, ESSEC, LBS, and ESCP. While the probability of getting a scholarship decreases in later rounds, the admission rate does not.
Think of it this way: if many candidates with higher scores or exceptional profiles apply in R1 and R2, and you apply in R3 as the best-suited candidate among the remaining applicants (since many believe applying in R3 is a waste of money), you stand a strong chance of getting in. Approach the process strategically.
PS: This is just my personal opinion.
